Female Personal Assistant


Part time hours available

Rate of Pay: £8.00 to £9.00

Claverley Area.


Personal support with dementia in the Claverley and surrounding area

Personal Duties

•Create and sustain a healthy relationship with the client in order to promote emotional stability and good mental functioning.

•Support with managing time and engaging in interesting activities.

•Transport to and from social outings.

•Encouragement with engagement with hobbies, particularly gardening.


Medical Duties

•Prompting client to take medications

•Encouraging the client to promote their own hygiene needs.


·Domestic Duties

•General housework

•Light gardening

•Meal preparation


Work and Social Duties

•Use your initiative to encourage the client to make the best use of their time given their interests.

•Encouraging projects in the house and garden to stimulate mental processing



•Previous experience of dementia or equivalent conditions

•Ability to follow instructions of Care Supervisor

•Ability to make records of care and events

•Ability to use initiative to promote the wellbeing of the client at all times within the parameters set by the Care Supervisor.

•Ability to communicate well in the team to promote a strong team of care.

•Ability to work in a safe way and to report health and safety concerns.

•·This is not an exhaustive list of duties and may change.


Experience in care work is essential and NVQ level 2 is preferred.

Full clean driving license and use of own vehicle is essential (Business Insurance is  

essential for the position, and if not in place, options will be discussed at interview).

A DBS is essential for the post.

Hours of work: 


8.30am to 5.30pm day shift and 8.30am to 8.00am sleep in night shift. Flexibility and equal cover of holiday and sick cover is a basic requirement of this team’s working practices.

The successful applicant(s) will be placed on a probationary period to start- this will be discussed at interview.


Rate of pay: £8.00 to £9.00 day shift rate dependent on experience

                   £82.80 per sleep in night shift
