Saturday WAKING NIGHT - SUPPORT WORKER

Have you got: Experience or understanding of Autism, challenging behaviour and lone working
Do you have: good communication skills, desire to learn, patience, understanding, compassion, self motivation, ability to think outside the box, passion for person centred care and support, good time keeping and accurate record keeping.
If you answered YES to the questions above then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to be part of a small team supporting one young gentleman in his own home. The role is lone working 1:1 supporting the young gentleman who has Downs Syndrome and Autism.
A typical shift will involve supporting with personal care, choice activities within his home, administration of medication, cooking supper, housework, ironing, promoting independence skills de-escalating triggers for behaviour, supporting with communication aids.
Role: SUPPORT WORKER (Learning Disability and Autism)
Location: STOURBRIDGE - West Midlands - England
Hours: 10 hour a week Contract. Plus bank shifts.
NIGHTS: Every Saturday night (available for Bank cover for annual leave and sickness).
Shift Patterns: 10pm - 8am
Wage: From £9.00ph depending on experience.
Hours of work:
4.5 hours per week @ £8.80
